WiiM

Pros

• So WiiM was the way forward but it’s so brilliant. Just having the remote to control everything is so useful too
• Wiim's software is very good. It's Linux kernel, same as Android, but with way less kruft than something designed to power phones, tablets, and what have you.
• Check out Wiim if you want streaming devices. They make an Amp version that can sub for Sonos, and it's compatible with Chromecast, Spotify, and many more options.
• There's also Wiim who makes streaming and amp devices that you can cast to, I'm using them as little 2.0 setups in my house.
• If you really want to use Bluetooth, get another adapter like a Wiim or whatever you want.

Cons

• The WiiM is brilliant, but very intermittent with USB connection, so optical, rca etc are preferred

• The problem with Wiim is that it doesn’t have usb input. The usb at the back is only for power.
• I use them since about half a year. Mostly happy with them. I had one occasion where they stopped connecting properly in a group set up. Reconnecting them fixed it entirely and had no issues since.
