Whiplash

Pros

• Whiplash also stays intense right up to the final scene.
• I’ve already watched Whiplash absolute masterpiece. The intensity and performances were insane. One of the best films I’ve seen.
• Idk about that but whiplash is pretty good, watch inside llewym davis as well if you're looking looking for what's the point type of movie but still good
• My four picks so far are Le Samouraï (where the jazz is arguably more present than the dialogue itself), Whiplash and Blue Giant (which are entirely about jazz)

Cons

• you now want to watch part two of the reddit trio, Whiplash.
• If you watch the directors commentary for “Whiplash”, it’s mostly JK Simmons and Damien Chazelle talking shit and making fun of Miles Teller for being a diva/hard to work with.
• Does anyone have any recommendations that are in your top 5 that are nowhere near the level of popularity as The Godfather, Interstellar, whiplash etc.
• The movie treads the line between the teacher being a "genius instructor who gets the most out of his students" and "he's just an abusive prick." The more you watch it, the more you realise it's the latter.
