Dark (TV series)

Pros

• There are some really good German shows (Dark, How to Sell Drugs Online, Babylon Berlin). The shows are difficult to understand and may require rewatching.
• I watch German-language series like *Dark* and, even though the complicated phrases are impossible for me to understand or speak, I'm at least repeating to myself the simpler sentences (I watch with English subtitles).
• Instead, I want a show like Breaking Bad, like Game of Thrones, Narcos, Marco Polo, Alice in Borderland, Dark, Ozark, Stranger Things, Squid Game, Money Heist etc.
• Maybe you can try to teach her yourself, watch something in German together (Dark for example).
• I loved Dark too. One of the best TV series ever made, IMHO.

Cons

• Nicos Weg, Sloeful German, Babylon Berlin, Dark, das Leben der Anderen
• Dark was too convoluted
• Dark obviously is quite popular, though I found it a bit difficult to follow unless you're 100% invested. But that's not necessarily a bad thing.
• Dark on Netflix
• I really liked the series How To Sell Drugs Online. And I'm sure a lot of people would recommend Dark as well I really like Dark, but following the story and the language may be challenging.
