A few 4K DLP Projector can do 1440p120. Viewsonic was the first Manufacturer because they have a XBOX Marketing Deal with MS.
I have the Viewsonic. It has excellent picture quality. I wish the stand was adjustable though.
Aside from that, look at affordable 4K or 1080p projectors from BenQ, Optoma, or ViewSonic that have low input lag (ideally under 30 ms)

There is nothing special about Viewsonic monitors. They are rarely at the top of testing for trusted review roundups. I would not focus on that brand. It's good that you have enjoyed the one you have. Viewsonic does have the occasional good model in their lineup but they aren't a unique vendor.
I have a buddy who bought a comparable 4k bulb projector - viewsonic brand. It’s shape and bright as hell! But… my set up looks better, by a combination of factors.
Honestly I would choose the Viewsonic it has better contrast and color, even if the BenQ has a better lifespan, it's not much to weigh in the balance.

I've considered the jmgo which is even cheeper but had doubts about brightness, considering that my viewsonic is quite bright.
As for the stores, there are but they have all those view sonic or Acer displays for which I have seen a lot of poor reviews online (especially of the models that I am eyeing)
