I have and am very happy with the Valerion VisionMaster Max. However, it's slightly off-center (35 cm) in my setup and needs digital correction
Not having a proper setup, makes it really hard to get everything aligned without keystone correction. Especially without lens shift. The Max will be quite the upgrade for that.
For example the valerion release an update with patches and newer feature however it also regress the performance. They even initially claim that their iris was black which has higher ansi contrast, it was only till user noticed it by accident that it was silver.

That benq is not worth it at that price even the Valerion max is not worth it's retail price as the competition the nebula x1, dangbei s7/s8 are a lot cheaper.
Valerion updated their fan speed to be lower rpm to reduce the noise but it causes the laser to throttle and has color stability issues. The Valerion max that cost $4-5k needs their user to buy additional external fan simply to avoid thermal throttling.
