Pros
- i love uncharted, but the "new" Tomb Raiders were almost more "fun" since they felt so much lower stakes.
- In fact my first Indiana Jones-ian videogames were Uncharted, which means I felt at home playing the 2013 reboot

- In Uncharted and Assassin's Creed 1, platforming is a lot more scripted. While you can manually jump and climb, the game uses invisible assists before you jump which guide where you land. ... In Uncharted's case, the assists pretty much...
- Definitely agree with Uncharted being that though.
Cons
- show me why games like uncharted and god of war opt for the simple rope and push the box puzzles.
- This speed of development didn't entirely die off in the PS360 era; we got the Uncharted and Mass Effect trilogies, for example.
- I got the impression that some exec saw Uncharted and said, "I want that, but without the gameplay getting in the way."
- I don't find the campaigns of COD or Uncharted to be that satisfying today, but as a kid the cinematic presentation was mind-blowing.

In Uncharted's case, the assists pretty much never fail. You won't have a situation where Nate fails to grab onto a ledge he collides into as he jumps.

And that’s where games like HZD or Uncharted fit right in. Give me pretty graphics, a decent story, fun combat and a beautiful world to explore and I’m good to go.
I'm also past the Jet Ski sequences which I believe is where I bounced off originally. ... overall I'm having a good time and at least the first one looks to be moving along pretty quick
