Pros

  • For those who haven't played this game, its absolutely amazing and my personal GOTY for 2024. 50 games bundled into one, and not just little mini games- most are fully fleshed out games.
  • Great game. It's unbelievable how varied and interesting the games in it are. Most games like this you expect basically just clones of famous retro games. In UFO 50, nearly every game has an interesting twist that makes it stand out from...
  • it is indeed, got it as well. i’m gonna be honest i didn’t expect the games to be this tough lol (although i only played the first ten so far), but almost every single one is a total gem 😊
  • Just wanted to give an indie game some love! It was in the Indie direct, picked it up after a few days and I am loving it! If you love playing NES era games, this is a must have.
  • I honestly find it to be among some of the best indie games ever made. It's simply a masterclass in game design and charm. There are of course people that harp on it because it contains games they didn't like, but it contains such a wide...

Cons

  • Parent context: I like it, there’s a ton of creativity. However, there are just far too many games that are like the immediate brutal learning curve. I’d rather them take the good things from old games rather than the difficulty of them....
  • Parent context: I just bought it too. Unfortunately, I don't understand the hype. It's a very mixed bag of games. Reply: I’ve played half of them so far, and I think they’ve ranged from good to great
  • Then it never came out in New Zealand ;-;

Great game. It's unbelievable how varied and interesting the games in it are. Most games like this you expect basically just clones of famous retro games. In UFO 50, nearly every game has an interesting twist that makes it stand out from the games it's superficially similar to.

I honestly find it to be among some of the best indie games ever made. It's simply a masterclass in game design and charm. There are of course people that harp on it because it contains games they didn't like, but it contains such a wide variety of experiences that you aren't really expected to like everything in it.
