  • Twitter is pretty big in Japan
  • my English fluency just evolved over time as a teenager hanging out on tumblr and twitter and YouTube.
  • It’s sad too because the Twitter used to be THE API for hobbyist. Great for learning
  • Use twitter for that. Interacting with native speakers really helped me

Cons

  • only twitter but don't go there, people are really rude usually
  • Last year I took twitter, Bluesky and threads off my device (they’re only on my laptop now although I’m ignoring the first one) so I can only scroll through Reddit before I get up.

I mean, twitter can be a fine source as long as the thing in the tweet is what is being referenced. If I claim that a person said a thing, its fine to link to a tweet containing a video of them saying that thing as evidence that they said the thing.
