TS10 Flashlight
Reddit take
AI summary of the Reddit excerpts below — not a quote
The TS10 is a widely acclaimed "hotrod" EDC flashlight, prized for its extreme compactness, high turbo output, and exceptional value. While it is a community favorite for its performance-to-price ratio, it is known for getting hot quickly and having limited sustained brightness.
Pros
- Excellent value, frequently available for $10–$15 on sale
- Extremely compact size, making it ideal for everyday carry
- Impressive turbo output for its small form factor
- High appeal for enthusiasts due to CCT, CRI, and feature-rich UI
- Available in premium materials like copper for customization
Cons
- Heats up very quickly during high-output use
- Low sustained brightness, typically around 100 lumens
- Stock tail switch is described by some users as poor quality
- Pocket clip design can rub against the head when unscrewing for battery access
- Visible PWM (flicker) on the lowest brightness setting
Caveats
- Considered a 'hotrod' light, meaning it prioritizes short bursts of high power over long-term efficiency
- The tail switch ergonomics are polarizing and can feel awkward to some users
- There are community reports and concerns regarding the potential discontinuation of the TS10 line
Best for
- Budget-conscious EDC enthusiasts
- Flashlight hobbyists who value high CRI and compact 'hotrod' performance
- Users needing a tiny, powerful light for short tasks
Avoid if
- You require high sustained brightness for extended periods
- You are sensitive to PWM flicker at low light levels
- You prefer a side-switch interface over a tail-switch

Same about flashlight, Wurkkos discontinued ts10
TS10💪🏻
So, in conclusion, we will have a new body but same issues.......
Barely any throw for its size and floods with lots of artifacts. Surprised to not see it fixed in this latest iteration.
I'm welcoming the new look, as I never particularly liked the repeated concave shapes in the original. I think this shape is more stylish.
Hope the tail switch is consistent and good this time around. And I hope this is trying to be the best in class that it can be and not just the budget friendly alternative. But I guess it’s Wurkkos, so that might be asking too much.
Looks too different tbh, I liked the OG TS10 minimalist look.
Tbh this TIR doesn't have a very good beam, it would be better if it was frosted. With frosted centre.
I for one welcome a cheap KR4 clone
There's one target with single color aux that is very popular, has enough storage and would benefit from the extended aux patterns: the original Wurkkos TS10. In my custom patched I had extra patterns for low blink and high blink and especially high blink is important for me: Low is almost invisible most of the time, while the battery is drained after a few days on high.
