Trader Joe's

Pros
- I also haven't noticed large price increases at Trader Joe's. We mainly cook from scratch, and produce prices at Trader Joe's and the local Chinese grocery stores are fairly affordable IMO.
- Trader Joe's also sells polenta for $1.99 per log, which is insanely cheap compared to everywhere else.
- Seconding trader Joe's. They make it easy.
- In between Costco trips we go to Trader Joe’s. We rarely go to any other grocery store and eat only maybe once a week.
- I find it more affordable than grocery stores when you stick to the Whole Foods and limit buying snacks.
Cons
- So does Trader Joe’s 🙌🏻
- They are on the more mid-affordable end of the spectrum at least where I live. More expensive than Aldi and Walmart, less than some independent or specialty grocers.
- Previously I’ve been spending around $450 monthly in groceries between Giant, Trader Joe’s, and Aldi
- Right now I get traitor joes frozen meals for work

Yeah they’re cheap if you live in a high COL area especially, they have the same prices nationwide so they can be cheap on a lot of things.

The best of the national brands are Zing Zang, Old Bay, Filthy, and Trader Joe's. They're all different. "Best" comes down to personal preference. ... Trader Joe's has a strong layer of seafood/clam to its profile.
