Pros

  • It depends how sensitive your skin is but Topicals Faded is a good option for PIE.
  • For your face you have a lot more options like Topicals Faded or single active products.
  • Over the longer term something like Topicals Faded will help, but again, ease into it.
  • Topicals Faded has a good mix of ingredients for PIE and PIH.
  • Topicals Faded is a good option which has both, just don't go too heavy with it as it can irritate.

Topicals Faded is good for hyperpigmentation, just don't use it more than once a day if your skin is on the sensitive side. It has niacinamide, tranexamic acid, kojic acid, azelaic acid and liquorice root for PIH but also soothing and hydrating ingredients like allantoin, cica, squalane and glycerin.

Don't add more actives, you're doing a looot to your skin right now. Stop the BHA unless it's solving a specific problem and work up to nightly tret usage (unless you have already tried and ruled that out). You can also try upping the azelaic acid to twice a day if your skin can handle it, but I wouldn't do that before trying out nightly usage with tret for at least a few weeks or months. That's what will do the heavy lifting here.
