Thule Aion

Pros

• I used the Thule Aion backpack throughout college and it held up really well, even with my heavy laptop and books.
• Every time I bring my laptop out, I use my 28L thule aion. Leaves me enough room to stuff a jacket or have extra snacks
• The Aion is slightly bigger and can even expand to 32l. I like this a lot since this means it can be a bag for just school stuff, but if I need to, I can take some spare clothes with me as well. The waterproof sleeve also looks like a ni...

Cons

• I looked at the Thule but saw it's over 7 lbs (I'd flatten the .1 inch if needed.) My limit is 6 lbs as if they can do this 10 years ago, I can't imagine why they can't today and every pound counts!
• I have the Aion. It's a nice bag but with a couple of caveats. 1) The listed height of the bag is NOT accurate at all. It is way taller than 18.5in, so don't expect to use it as a personal item. 2) it doesn't sit upright, and 3) it is qu...
• The only Thule backpack I like is the Thule Aion but it's bulky, a slimmer version would have been great.
• I needed to decide between those two(and the Thule Aion), and ended up with the MLC mini because it fits so much more stuff.
