Thule Aion 28l

I have the Thule Aion 28l. Clean design, and lots of compartments and organization pockets. It has a compartment to house 1-2 laptops or documents and a larger one that can other items. My lunch box fits well in it. Good size for travel.

I carry one laptop, my chargers, extra mouse, gym clothes including shoes and some other things, which now easily fit my Thule aion 28L.

It has luggage passthrough ... It can fit a decent size water bottle in the outside pocket ... It has a great front access/quick access panel with solid organization. ... It has a rubber/plastic? section that can separate the main compartment from your tech but its fantastic if you end up with wet, damp, or dirty clothes you need to put back in your bag. ... It has attachment points on the front for carabiners/hero clips to attach your shoes to for the gym.

Parent context: For your use case I agree that the Aion would be great due to the waterproof divider. Can't tell anything bad about it, it couldn't decide literally for days. Reply: I think I’ll go for the Aion then once I’ve slept on it, it just seems to have all the right features I’m looking for. Also not complaining for it being almost haft price of the others I’ve been looking at!

Thule Aion 28L. I little over your spec but I can’t think of anything else that ticks most of those boxes apart from hydration bladder

I recently picked up the Aion 28L and am liking it. Giving it the EDC treatment right now, and thus far like it for a EDC/Travel hybrid more than AER Travel Pack small etc. or Daylite 26+6.

I would suggest a Thule Aion 28l or Subterra 2 26l. Both are expandable to 32l. ... Especially for this price point they are a good choice.

For travel backpack, try check the Thule Aion 28L. They have the 40L version as well if you need bigger capacity.
