Reddit take

Not enough linked mention summaries yet; the source excerpts below are the evidence.

Pros

  • I tried a bunch of todo list apps (Things still my favorite)
  • My primary use-case is Things, where every project has this block at the top (mirrored in the Obsidian note).
  • I like Things
  • All other tasks live in my task manager which was Todoist but since I switched to Apple, they live in Things.
  • Most likely because Todoist is subscription based while Things is a one time purchase. At least that's why I use Things over Todoist.

Cons

  • Things I've tried: * GTD apps like OmniFocus, Things, and Reminders
  • I also use Things, but it doesn’t give me the visualization I need.
  • As many people here have said, Obsidian isn't a task manager, it's note-taking ... and many use Things, Tick Tick, Todoist.
  • I use Things.
