Pros
- If The Mind can work, then maybe The Game? Build on a sinilar premise of playing cards in sequential order in order to emty out the deck/hand, and players could call the cards being played
- Pretty much the only game my wife likes playing is The Game (worst title ever), a shortish, fully co-op game with really light rules.
- The Game with Michael Douglas and Sean Penn was a real MF.
- Fantastic game. I even have custom wood player mats / airlines for it. Actually, my fiance bought it as a gift for me intending to make the beautiful cards into a poster. We gave it a play before we were going to break it, but realized i...
- Love this game. Have played a few 3-4 player games, 3 is ideal. Mostly however, it’s been 2 player games. And we’ve played a good 20-30 times. The design of the game is amazing. Art is beautiful and so on point of the era. I like the gam...
Cons
- There was a book called The Game which really popularized this as well. Very controversial methods btw.
- Just played it for the first time yesterday. I really enjoyed it, the combination of worker placement and bidding hit for me. We played at 2 players, and it didn’t feel tight enough at that count. Too many actions, and most bids were rea...

Fantastic game. I even have custom wood player mats / airlines for it. Actually, my fiance bought it as a gift for me intending to make the beautiful cards into a poster. We gave it a play before we were going to break it, but realized it was such a good game that we didn't want to ruin it.
Just played it for the first time yesterday. I really enjoyed it, the combination of worker placement and bidding hit for me. We played at 2 players, and it didn’t feel tight enough at that count. Too many actions, and most bids were really cheap. It seems like 3 players would be ideal, as that gives you 4 workers (engineers) each, and with 2 more total workers on the board there might be more competition for spots. At 4 players it seems like you would have too few actions to accomplish much each round.

I really like the game... its at least 3 plays before you figure out the best plays.
I really liked all of these. Enjoy! - The Game (1997)
The Game is always my answer for which movie I wish I could watch for the first time again.
