TerraMaster
Reddit take
Not enough linked mention summaries yet; the source excerpts below are the evidence.
Pros
- As of today? I'd say get either a Ugreen or Terramaster.
- Terramaster is your friend
- I read in an old post that with TerraMaster devices it’s possible to edit and disable this disk hibernation option.
- I then plan on moving from Synology to UGREEN or Terramaster for the ability to stream multiple 4K files on Plex and use transcoding.
- I’d choose terramaster over Sabrent.
Cons
- I've gotten sube $100 recommendations for TerraMaster but apparently their PSU is underpowered.

But this TERRAMASTER one came up on some lists too for $190.
you either pay a decent amount for something with good reviews (e.g., TERRAMASTER, Yottamaster)
I use QNAP but there's plenty of good companies. Asustor, Terramaster, UWC.
For USB 3.2 or thunderbolt, Terramaster and OWC both have good quality and stable performance.
