I think if you're worried about longevity the C8L will be the choice. This is due to having access to new HDR formats in particular Dolby Vision 2 Max which will make use of higher peak brightness while utilising the existing Dolby Vision catalogue. (This requires a higher processer) The main thing you will notice would be the virtually Zero-Border going right to the edge, visually this is the most attractive and USP of the C8L / QM8L

TV turns on/off very quick. Setup is very easy compared to other TVs... What I like though is google tv in basic mod is actually super simple, you select inputs and it shows inputs, it doesn’t show every single setting for the TV
The big issue, blooming? It’s the big issue of this technology! But this really surprised me how good it is. It’s not an issue in a very dim room, and in a dark room it has to be such specific content like the star test to barely see it.
