I understand from the research that taz is clearly superior in potency for acne fighting and renewing skin, but there is no one to one comparative study with tret on anti-aging (most famous study is taz 0.1 vs tret 0.05), so most of the conclusions outside of that study are extrapolated.
So far I seem to tolerate it well, no burning, no redness, no peeling for either.
I religiously, without fail, will have a few of these crop up within a few hours of applying tazarotene.

High % Azelaic Acid, I've tested 20%and definitely saw improvement albeit temporary as I only tested and now working in Tazarotene. That should also help.
