Soolantra

Pros

• Tried everything, so now I'm hoping that once the hormones stabilise my skin will be able to handle Soolantra (previously was too comedogenic for me but worked well for seb derm and rosacea).
• Did you try soolantra? It was the best thing for my type 2. cleared it completely for me no hives no itching. Only things that remains is a light redness
• Thankfully since I started Soolantra at night before I sleep I have seen some improvement and I'm hoping to maximise this effect.
• I’ll also share I use Soolantra and that has helped IMMENSELY.

Cons

• I was consistent with the Soolantra for 8 weeks but gave up when my skin barrier started feeling worse and I saw zero improvement, and an increase in cystic pimples.
• Metrogel and Soolantra didn’t really do anything, but I noticed a change within the first week of using AA in Feb.
• I also like to use drug store ivermectin (sold as lice cream) because I'm too cheap for Soolantra. Drug store is .5% ivermectin and $30 whereas Soolantra is 1% and $500.
• Finally stated incorporating the AA into my routine in mid-late January after seeing no results from the Metro and Soolantra, as within a month, my skin looks and feels much better and clearer!
• wanted to try azelaic acid so just used my prescription soolantra layered over the aa because I thought it was a nice cream. ruined my forehead barrier, and now I can't repair it.
