Pros

  • I got my little copper ingot that shoots out light. The button is perfect.
  • I don't understand the hate - it was very affordable for the mass of copper - and my clicker works fine. ... the copper head is a perfect heatsink - its a small, low-duration, light bomb. I really like it. I have ~ 30 flashlights and thi...
  • 3000k with no scratches or button issues. I'm not a huge fan of the clip location, but I knew what I was getting when I ordered. Overall, I am happy with my 1st copper flashlight.
  • I really like that the button is hard to accidentally press. I've been carrying it unlocked for 2 days now and no problems with it accidentally turning on.
  • It's not just the copper, is also the buck driver and the 3000k HiCRI emitter.

Cons

  • I was one of the lucky ones, and my button was fine....but it is substantially bigger that the "SC13" model they have had for years. Mine had no finish issues. And I actually really like it, but it isn't even a comparable light to the OG...
  • I grabbed the sc13 copper upon recommendation off here. ... I will admit it is not great at all. I have most experience with tail switches but I understand peoples anger with the side switch. My model did come scratched in multiple spots...
  • I've spent too much on lights recently, I tried to resist but this is too good with the sft40 3000k, and a decent price, had to get one. I only have 1 copper light so far. Wasn't a huge fan of the smell it causes, and I'd prefer it if...
  • This will look like absolute garbage over time as it turns baby shit green. Not to mention how it will feel in the hand as it does so, like diseased slime.

I was one of the lucky ones, and my button was fine....but it is substantially bigger that the "SC13" model they have had for years. Mine had no finish issues. And I actually really like it, but it isn't even a comparable light to the OG SC13 or SC13a sizewise.

I grabbed the sc13 copper upon recommendation off here. ... I will admit it is not great at all. I have most experience with tail switches but I understand peoples anger with the side switch. My model did come scratched in multiple spots and the threads at the head looked a little scratchy. I love the performance of the light and overall form factor

I've spent too much on lights recently, I tried to resist but this is too good with the sft40 3000k, and a decent price, had to get one. I only have 1 copper light so far. Wasn't a huge fan of the smell it causes, and I'd prefer it if it didn't patina. The copper looks really nice without patina. But I kinda like a little patina, and the smell isn't that bad.
