Sofirn HS45

Pros

• My brother has a wurkkos TS27 and ts22 and Sofirn HS45 . Naturally the sibling need to out do each other is strong and I recently lost my torch which was far less superior to his.
• I have one and like it as well. I don't ever think this light (or ones like it) will ever have mainstream appeal, but I can see this carving a niche. Mine will mainly be used in the garage, working on the cars or working at the bench vis...
• The HS45 seems like exactly what I needed: brighter for longer, bigger hotspot, same button feel, and even simpler UI due to the single channel. ... Time will tell how it holds up, but so far so good.

Cons

• Only light i can think of that would do what he wants well would be the hs45... Its a cold white single emitter chunky awkward hunk with a crappy head strap and weird weight distribution... but boy does it ever throw light where you want...
• 1. It is loud and it also seems that I received faulty model, where fan works at full speed at any mode (even ECO) so I didn't get to feel "quiet" experience. 2. Turbo does not exist, it is basically 1s spike and it drops to same level...
• Looking at the fan, I can share the doubts about it beeing IP6. The body of the light should be sealed well enough, but the exposed wires of the fan might be a problem.
• The HS45 only has thermal protection in place at 50°C to 1250 lumens, nothing on turbo thereafter. ... In my testing on high, without the fan, it reached 70°C. If the test on turbo was performed it would have presumably continued to incr...
• Still, not really impressive, I thought that by having the fan the light would be better. It´s good news it has the secondary temperature control, but this light still has a lot of problems and in my opinion it´s not worth it.
