Coincidentally, today I started re-pairing devices from a USB-connected Sonoff P dongle flashed with coordinator firmware ( on ZHA) to a WiFi-connected SLZB-06 (on Z2MQTT) and it’s a night and day improvement. Both are up on a 2nd floor loft area overlooking my 1st floor. Near instantaneous pairing even through multiple walls on the other side of the house.

Most of us who have gone down this path end up running homeassistant and zigbee2mqtt with an slzb-06 or something similar. It may be more than you're wanting to dive into but it just works

SLZB-06 is easily the best adapter. you can set it up as a repeater or as a coordinator or as a remote coordinator! super easy

+1 for slzb-06. Network attached controllers are "da bomb!"

The slzb-06 and its variants are just great and I think wildely used now.

The SLZB-06 is a good choice. I've one in use with no issues.
