Simucube 2 Pro

Pros

• I would just get the Simucube 2 Pro. There's no point in making a compromise if you're already upgrading from a kilobuck wheel, you're only going to find yourself deeper in kilobuck territory

• Simucube 2 pro - on sale for $1k. The precision and feel blew me away.
• If I give SC2 Pro lets say 9.5 out of 10 (yes it is that good in my opinion for years), I would give SC3 Pro probably 9.7 etc. ... SC2 Pro was way more than anybody ever needs.
• I would get the sc3 if I was buying now, but I’m not going to upgrade from my sc2 any time soon as it’s the best base I’ve ever used

Cons

• I have a SC2 Pro and am about to switch to the VNM Extreme. Not liking the direction Simucube is heading with their overall attitude, proprietary connectors etc.
• Parent context: It's on par with other top tier wheelbases from multiple manufacturers but costs more. It's really good, yes. But offers nothing you won't find from top shelf models from Asetek, SimLab, VRS, Fanatec, Simagic, newer model...
• It is still regarded as the best base out there. Yes the 3 is gonna be better but we are talking about minor differences here. The main drawbacks of the 2 are a mediocre QR even though it’s sturdy and no USB passthrough.
• I currently have a simucube 2 pro with the simucube tahko gt21 wheel and an MPI cleetus McFarland wheel I use for rally racing.
• Simucube 2 Pro (with BF discount) could be an option, but feels annoying buying this right when they're releasing the new model.
