Santa Cruz 5010

This is not even a contest - the 5010 is in another category. I am shocked comments about aluminum. Until you ride a santa cruz carbon frame you will never go back.

I’m 5’10” and have a large 5010 and a large Megatower and both fit me like a glove.

Santa Cruz are very very nice bikes. The 5010 is the most fun you can have on 2 wheels.

If you are prioritizing fun first, there really isn't a better bike than the newest 5010. It now is a mullet (29 front 27.5 rear) so it gains a lot of capability compared with previous generations, but it's still just as fun as the older bikes!

I love the versatility of the 5010, but most of the trails near me are XC trails (Charlotte, NC), and I'm not a park rider. If I didn't have a budget, I'd probably get another 5010
