Samsung Galaxy S26

Pros

• I’d recommend going with the Galaxy S26+ if you want the best balance of features and value
• my colleague Mike Andronico tested the Galaxy S26, and we think it’s the best bang for your buck in terms of “what’s worth it for your money”
• The standard Galaxy S26 is really quite small and light by modern standards, and it's difficult to use modern apps on anything smaller
• get the s26 since the processing power difference is massive and oneui is just better imo
• i'd stick with iphone if possible, if u can't, then get something from the s26 line.

Cons

• Samsung has the S26 which practically hasn't updated the cameras since the S22, plus I personally never really liked Samsung's version of android.
• I looked at the S26 but took a hard pass.
• I have seen that the Samsung S26 is just a reskin of past Samsung S phones with the camera being really bad since of the aggresive AI
• the s26 is pretty decent, the main issue is that the iphone 17 is better than it while being cheaper, so the reviewers kinda shit on the s26 for not being the best value at its price point
• I was dissapointed that Instagram and Tiktok is just as slow during video editing. I thought I'd see the 500$ upgrade with S26 at least there, but no not really. :(
