Pros
- This game is a bit hard to get to the table, but I love it. Yeah it's not easy but that's why it's interesting and challenging.
- This game is great. Agree on the theme being a bit odd, but gameplay is tight and interesting.
- I really like this game. ... And because it's mostly small, quick moves, the pace is really nice. ... But if you like that kind of strategy where you're thinking 5 turns ahead (like I do), it's a very good game.
- I thoroughly enjoyed Salton Sea as well. However I would warn people that this is a euro with *significantly scarce resources*. It actually replicates how companies have to constantly prioritize and make compromises due to budget constra...
- I really enjoy Salton Sea. It's my hidden gem of 2024. The fact that so much punch can be put in such a small box is a feat in itself. Heavy euros are my comfort food and this fits right in.
Cons
- I like me a tight game but it was almost too much. Economy was novel but with how laborious it was to get anything done sent this one off to get sold.
- My criticisms would be that it's a bit of a table hog and that some of the icons are not intuitive.
- I quite enjoyed it but it felt like the money was soooooo tight you could barely do anything. Maybe it was just playing it really badly, but it felt like if you made any mistakes, you were out. It is indeed incredible to have a fairly he...

I quite enjoyed it but it felt like the money was soooooo tight you could barely do anything. Maybe it was just playing it really badly, but it felt like if you made any mistakes, you were out. It is indeed incredible to have a fairly heavy game in such a small box, very refreshing.
If I had any criticism the round end tidying up is a little fiddly, this was greatly improved with using a card holder though. And the first few rounds can feel a little static before you start having any real power. It's also worth noting it can be quite a deceptive table hog for such a small box.

The game isn't going to win any graphic awards, but I do appreciate the color pallete chosen, and the quality of the wooden components is quite nice.
