Roon

Pros
- I also have a nice DAC, a Roon, and a subscription to Qobuz and Tidal.
- I’m running Roon for streaming and a turntable for physical media.
- Also in recently switch from Apple Music to Roon and built a ronpieee endpoint with a rapi 5. USB to DAC - this has been flawless and easy to set up.
- I use ROON to manage my library.
- What surprised me was that the difference showed up using two methods inside the same transport (eg, streaming a lossless file via the built in Tidal app on the transport, vs using Roon connect to stream that same lossless file from Tidal)
Cons
- Does anyone have a newbie guide to using a Roon server? Lmao.
- J.River Media Center with Mo 4Media Android app, Roon.
- Roon and Qobuz
