Rockwell 6S

Pros

• The 6s is much heavier than what you are currently using. ... I still pull out my 6s from time to time because, despite the weight, it’s a great razor.
• Like two of my most used razors at the moment, Gamechanger 84 OC and the Rockwell 6S. Because when I can feel the blade more, I can immediately tell if I am using too much, too little, or just the right amount of pressure.
• Rockwell 6S is amazing, especially on plate 4, I find it to have the best balance of smoothness and efficiency.
• The Rockwell 6S is just so smooth and gives such a maximum enjoyable experience that it’s not worth chasing the most aggressive razor.
• ROCKWELL 6S ADVOCATE HERE! Did my first shave yesterday and the first razor stroke was enough to convince me that this is one of the best razors ever.

Cons

• I’m with you in thinking the 6s is terribly heavy. In fact, I’ve said it’s like shaving with a sack of potatoes tied to your arm.
• Whether in a Muhle R89, an R41, a vintage Gillette, a Rockwell 6s, or any other razor I have tried, the key for me working ATG is a good, new, blade.
• I have a Rockwell 6S as well, and I’ll echo the comment about plates you won’t use, but what I don’t like about the 6S is how heavy it is.
• The 6s is incredibly heavy. I prefer something light and nimble when I’m dragging a blade across my face.
• For me, the 6S just weighs too much. It’s like trying to shave with a sack of potatoes tied to your wrist.
