Rocket Appartamento

Pros

• aim for a Niche Zero (or similar low‑retention grinder) + a simple PID single‑boiler or compact heat‑exchange machine (Lelit/used Rancilio/used Rocket Appartamento type).
• I've been considering upgrading from my OG Rocket Appartamento (not the TCA or any of the newer refreshes). I love the machine, but there are a few things that still bug me.
• I use my Dad’s old brown handled Rocket!
• I have a couple and like them, but I think there are better options available today.
• for an in between an e61 dual boiler like the bianca, ECM, Profitec, Rocket are all great

Cons

• I have tried almost all of the popular apps except Rocket.
• But also I think the Apartamento is just bad value.
• Went from looking at Rocket and Lelit Mara X to realizing that it wouldn’t make that much difference for me as I am just getting started in this hobby
• I honestly started to find it unnerving that I had to start the car at least half an hour before, no PID. Don't get it wrong, it's a good machine, great for learning, but at a nice premium! The internal technology (at least Rocket's) is...
• As a Rocket apartment owner I recommend you get a dual boiler
