Ring Doorbell

Pros

• Ring doorbell with a fire cube (stick should work too AFAIK) ... Works great, comes up as picture in picture
• I want to buy one for my gate but the picture quality is worse than a ring camera.
• My Ring doorbell took like an hour to install absolute tops
• Parent context: I have a Ring camera that runs off solar and i haven't had to touch it in two years . There's nothing wrong with solar if the panel is sized properly Reply: Yeah but there is a problem with having a RING camera.
• Teach him to use the ring camera to contact you if it happens again.

Cons

• I'd rather be tacky and have an actual camera than have to rely on a POS battery-powered Ring camera or something.
• I use the unifi doorbell as well as a ring doorbell for my gate.
• I have had a few instances where my Ring doorbell wouldn't connect to my Echo show. ... That would have been much easier if the Ring doorbell did what it was supposed to do.
• I would send that RING doorbell back and get a Reolink one.
• I watched the ring camera in horror as he walked up to the front door and realized no one was home. (I was shouting on the ring camera the entire time but my camera setting was on mute).
