Ricoh GR

Pros

• Have to imagine you're considering something like the Ricoh GR and that would be a great option to achieve what you're looking for. Completely pocketable, great lens + sensor quality, and familiar composition and shooting interface.
• I've only shot digital with my Ricoh GR so not very experienced when it comes to gear.
• If I'm going smaller and don't need an EVF it will be a Ricoh GR. I've tried everything in between and these are the best options for the price.
• Or a used Ricoh GR if you’re really looking for tiny but still capable.
• Gr is the only answer

Cons

• Ricoh GR has fixed focal length (either 28 mm or 40 mm equivalent) depending on the model. That might not be idea and does not bring that much extra compared to a phone.
• Be aware that the GR because of it's extending lens is even more prone to weather and dust. It's a common problem.
• Cancel out the GR and the RX100. They don't do real film sims in camera. The GR is also quite specialized for street; not a good multipurpose choice.
• I had both, the sheer lens sharpness and overall picture quality is better on the GR. I have love-hate relationship with that little ricoh. Image quality, handling, its size, all nice, but the AF is bad and I had to rma it twice, lens fo...
