ReSetna

Its painfully unoriginal, buggy, and tedious to explore. The public reception has lately been on a downward trend and I think that when external reviews are factored in, the public reception has become mixed.

for a while it was somewhere between decent and mediocre but I was enjoying it enough until I got stuck and realised that I had somehow missed an ability upgrade somewhere, probably in Acidia. However, given the performance issues and blandness of that biome I just could not motivate myself to go back in there and retrace all my steps and so I dropped it.

The reception has been lukewarm with the biggest complaints focused on the game's bugs and jankiness.

As for Resetna, it's a standard MV with an annoying tetris-like system for slotting charms (chips, actually), okay combat, nimble and fast movement, and an exploration that feels a tad too guided for my taste (you always know where to go next). Not a soulslike at all, much more like a trimmed-down version of PoP in sci-fi settings. It's not bad by any means, and I'd still recommend it for some boss encounters (can't say the same for the overall enemy roster) and the ease of clearing up the map's nooks and crannies.

Feedback on ReSetna would be greatly appreciated as there seems to be quite a bit of obscurity in that regard. I am particularly curious to know if it's a soulslike metroidvania or not and why.
