Pros
- This was my first souls like game, played it a month or two ago and loved it. I agree with the level design praise, exploration was so much fun. Finding the hidden bosses was such a treat.
- I played it recently too, I liked it way more than I thought I would. One reason is that it playes into my love of megastructures and osha defiant building design. The underground city especially has a nice call of the void feeling to it.
- I really liked this game and it might actually be an underrated gem. The basics of this game is a soulslike set in a dystopian world of Earth after ecological disaster in an anime art style. ... seriously, this game is just a very well-d...
- Ai limit just feels tightly designed and comes together better than any other soulslike I've played, even if it lacks budget or innovation.
- It's one of those games that doesn't do anything groundbreaking, nor does it pretend to, yet is still good enough to be an enjoyable experience if you're a fan of the genre. ... I was personally quite fond of the bleak brutalist aestheti...
Cons
- I'm a bit over halfway through AI limit now (in Spirit Depths) and I'd say the 7/10 ratings it got were pretty fair. It's a decent game exploration wise. There's some clever secrets. The problem is that the visuals suck. ... Music is bad...
- This is a game I expected to be terrible, but it ended up being pretty decent. It surprised me in certain moments, but it's still one of the easiest and mechanically simplest Soulslikes I've ever played. It's the kind of game that doesn'...
- people keep praising the game for having a DS1 style level design, but there’s literally nothing interesting in the branching paths. Like who cares if it’s branching if it’s grey nothingness with the same copy pasted enemies.
- I played through it and thought it was one of the most mediocre soulslikes I’ve ever played. I genuinely don’t understand the praise. ... The visuals and music in AI Limit are lackluster and it doesn’t stand out in particular way.
- I had the same experience and dropped it after a few hours. ... it quickly turned into fifty shades of grey, and not just in the visual department where undetailed rectangle rooms follow one after the other, but in terms of combat, level...

The problem is that the visuals suck. ... Music is bad, graphics are bad, voice acting's below average, fluidity is so-so, the story's nothing to write home about... exploration carries the game pretty hard.
I played it recently too, I liked it way more than I thought I would. One reason is that it playes into my love of megastructures and osha defiant building design. The underground city especially has a nice call of the void feeling to it.
I really liked this game and it might actually be an underrated gem. The basics of this game is a soulslike set in a dystopian world of Earth after ecological disaster in an anime art style. ... seriously, this game is just a very well-done entry for this genre. I'll dive into what I think is the best part of this game; level design. The levels of these games are just really fun to explore.
Ai limit just feels tightly designed and comes together better than any other soulslike I've played, even if it lacks budget or innovation.
This is a game I expected to be terrible, but it ended up being pretty decent. It surprised me in certain moments, but it's still one of the easiest and mechanically simplest Soulslikes I've ever played. It's the kind of game that doesn't do anything particularly special or innovative, but at least what it does, it does well.
It's one of those games that doesn't do anything groundbreaking, nor does it pretend to, yet is still good enough to be an enjoyable experience if you're a fan of the genre. ... I was personally quite fond of the bleak brutalist aesthetic ... Exploration is rewarding and necessary to get the true ending

I had the same experience and dropped it after a few hours. ... it quickly turned into fifty shades of grey, and not just in the visual department where undetailed rectangle rooms follow one after the other, but in terms of combat, level design, and story too. Everything is just so bland, without any memorability or personality.
