• REI Ruckpack 40
• I also like that the Ruckpack is just one unit for everything instead of having to worry about width while walking in narrow places.
• I have (and love) this bag, and I’ve never thought or cared about pockets on the hip belt tbh.

Cons

• REI Ruckpack 40 is almost the same but a little more travel than hike, depending on your priorities
• I liked the REI Ruckpack 40 but delivery to Europe is very expensive.
• The Ruckpack is oversized for the typical 22”x14”x9” overhead carry on limit.
• My wife has tried an REI ruckpack 40 but it’s a little big and the strap system is a little fiddly since it’s meant to zip up inside the bag.
• Here are the bags I'm considering: - REI Ruckpack 30 or 40
