Pros
- You’re going to see some from Zara this season and possibly HM or Ref. But your best bet is probably vintage/secondhand/resale.
- Reformation has (had?) a few pieces not so long ago.
- I love the Reformation style.
- Any brand with a $100/shirt price point or more (Reformation, Doen, Ba&Sh, Sezane, Vince, Theory, Ganni)
- Look at: Ministry of Supply, Staud, Marine Layer, Eileen Fisher, Reformation.
Cons
- Parent context: We still like reformation? Hasn't it declined severely in quality since the private equity buyout? Reply: They are trash now. You’re better off buying a $20 dupe on aliexpress for the exact same terrible quality.
- I think reformation is still a brand I wouldn't trust very much
- I like the style of Reformation clothing, but I know their quality is not worth the price tag. ... I can say that I've been very careful with the stuff I do own from Reformation and those pieces have lasted me about 8 years or so. I will...
- post Reformation being bought out by private equity I wouldn't say Reformation is doing well by those standards either
- I love a lot of their clothes, and I’m happy to shell out more for higher quality pieces, but the care instructions are not the most practical for my lifestyle!

I can say that I've been very careful with the stuff I do own from Reformation and those pieces have lasted me about 8 years or so. I will also say that the secondhand market for Reformation is less expensive and I wouldn't buy their stuff full price.

I love the Reformation style.
Reformation dresses I think would not. Most of them are very plain, and while that may make them more versatile, they need a lot of styling to look interesting and unique.
Reformation's quality has gone down a lot in recent years. If I'm paying hundreds for a silk dress I would like it to be somewhat well-sewn.
