Pros

• I went to a new injector, a doctor who did a facial balancing consult with me and he chose radiesse and a completely different area than the last injector and he used it in a few different ways... I am beyond happy with my results thus far!
• Standard Radiesse is a thick CaHA filler that can give immediate volume, support, and contour depending on where and how it’s injected.
• Best for: When I want more structure and definition, especially around areas like the jawline. It’s less about slowly restoring general facial volume and more useful when contour and support are part of the goal.
• Collagen stimulators have approved equivalents in most countries, Sculptra and Radiesse included in the US and Canada, so a clinic near you can carry the course on.
• I got chin and jawline filler (radiesse) and the gold protocol done on my neck and platysmal bands which is radiesse, HA and Daxxify diluted and mixed and threaded throughout your desired areas.

Cons

• Scaffolding, which is Sculptra, Juvelook and diluted Radiesse.
• I’ve had Radiesse a year and a half ago and I looked like Maleficent for a month with very pronounced cheeks, I hated it. I dont know, how much collagen production it caused, I won’t risk it again.
• With collagen stimulation injectables like Sculptra and radiesse there is a higher risk of swelling or follow-up checks which requires a few days stay.
• Radiesse gives you the instant lift. But it cannot be dissolved like HA fillers, so if your doctor misses the right layer, you are stuck with it until it slowly fades.
• If you are thinking needling RF like Morpheus 8, or Radiesse its very important to study before and after do’s and don’t of combination with other treatments. I don’t meant to scare you but look into it pls
