QuickAdd + Templater: For frictionless capture (Projet note, CheatSheet Note, etc.)

To be able to track "progress" of tasks/checklists within a note in the TaskNotes Kanban view (similar to what Trello does) I added a JavaScript macro via QuickAdd that counts the open/in-progress/draft checklist items in the note

QuickAdd is great, but I wanted something even more lightweight

For quotes i use to store it in one markdown file with help of QuickAdd and Javascript (Chatgpt)

So I threw the entire Dataview and QuickAdd docs at Claude using Repomix to generate a few queries and scripts for me. Would I trust my life with the code? No. But it does what I need, and it beats learning JavaScript for a handful of queries.

AI can also create the Templater templates and integrate it with metabind or quickadd...

I have something setup with advanced URI and QuickAdd currently. I just created a QuickAdd template which adds the timestamp and whatever I type to my daily note.

Something that is really quick is putting together a drawer of ideas and shortcuts to create quick notes in it (with QuickAdd, for example). It is less cumbersome and guarantees that you can create quick ideas without problems

If you want to make the tag filter dynamic, so you can query different properties like Project, Theme, or any custom frontmatter key without hardcoding, you’d need to integrate a plugin like QuickAdd for dropdown input
