Pros
- Woman in Puerto Rico here, we have plenty for you to do that falls under what you say plus touristy and non touristy areas to stay in (hotels, hostels, air B&B, etc.).
- Puerto Rico. Great gameplay. There's a reason it held Number One on bgg for a long time. But the theme is literally about colonization and exploitation in the Caribbean, including erasure of the natives and use of slaves as a currency bu...
- If we're discussing euros, I'm probably going to mention Puerto Rico, Agricola, or Concordia. I love these games
Cons
- Many years ago, when Puerto Rico was at the height of its popularity, a friend of a friend reported that it was a terrible game that simply didn't work. ... And yes, that absolutely would be the case if you somehow missed the bit about p...
- or Peurto Rico where multiple triggers exist, but they are all a choice.
- These campaigns like PR or Agricola are everything i don't like about deluxe editions: - unnecessary minis - AI slop art that takes away all the charm - huge coffin boxes
- I equally love both Agricola and Puerto Rico, the latter of which has honestly always had a mediocre production quality... Looking at Puerto Rico though it just looked like a bunch of visual nonsense that will increase setup and tear dow...

If you ever wanted minis in Castles of Burgundy, Puerto Rico, or Agricola, they exist now.

Puerto Rico was number 1 on BoardGameGeek at the time and when Agricola came out and usurped it for number one, the debates were heated.
