Prisoners

Pros

• Prisoners is absolutely amazing. It's so dark. It's one I always recommend. I also always tell people to pay attention to the music (It's like this organ music that's really depressing.)
• It has tension, mystery, grey shades of morality, and respect for the audiences' intelligence. All the best aspects of a great thriller. Add to that a great cast and great pacing. One of the best this century so far I'd say..
• Parent context: Zodiac = amazing , prisoners = amazingly good , gone girl = awful Reply: Zodiac = amazing , prisoners = amazingly good , gone girl = awful
• Watched Prisoners recently and I’m honestly surprised I put it off for so long. The tension, performances (Hugh Jackman & Jake Gyllenhaal), and atmosphere are top-tier from start to finish.
• Prisoners kept me hooked the whole time.

Cons

• Prisoners would stand a good chance at being a good movie if it didn’t have a big, giant flaw in it … and the flaw is Paul. Dano is weak sauce, man. He’s a weak sister.
• Oh god yeah the Reddit trinity strikes again lol, next you'll be telling them to watch Prisoners for part three
• Saw it before, was a good movie objectively but not really one of my favorites…
• The movie is a 5 out of 10. Because it’s a bit frustrating, I don’t re-watch it like I do with most other movies.
