Prequel

Pros

• Prequel (they seem more expensive but the packaging is large and usually cheaper by the ounce), CeraVe, Vanicream, Geek & Gorgeous (check sizes though) are all good affordable brands.
• Prequel have a petrolatum ointment and a dimethicone balm that look really nice (got some nice soothing ingredients) but they're expensive, it's Prequel tho so I can justify the price 😭.
• I typically use vitamin c and a hydrating serum (prequel) under it and it’s enough for me.
• The only brand that has worked for me after spending 1000s of dollars is prequel. This is not an ad in anyway but it saved my skin.
• Plus, a lot of U.S. brands like Prequel, Cocokind, and Tower 28 have multiple products approved by organizations like the National Eczema Association and those have consistently worked really well for me and my mom's dry skin.

Cons

• Prequel charges a return fee for $7, which at their price point might as well eat the loss.
• Dr. Sam Ellis is great, but it's worth noting she's a founder of Prequel so she's going to be frequently (though, not exclusively) talking about her own brand.
