I have a directory full of mp3 files (sorted in typical Artist>Album>SongName form) on my desktop (both Ubuntu and MacOS available) and am eager to load them onto Musicolet or Poweramp on my Android 13 device
Poweramp does give you far more freedom EQ wise but I feel like limiting yourself sometimes is better for not overcomplicating things.
I really wish this feature was implemented in all music players available for Android. Too many good music players that I like the layout of that don't have anything like this added to it.
I've moved on to an iPhone, but I use PowerampEQ on my Android DAP every day.
i once bought the paid version of PowerAmp, and i've never searched for any alterantives since then

Always wanted bit perfect in poweramp
Parent context: I remember having Poweramp on a phone years ago and it was always a good choice, aside from the constant crashing. Have you experienced this at all? Reply: Doesn't crash for me. However I have onpy a moderate sized library of around 4000 songs.
I use Poweramp, which is okayish. I got used to it.
Poweramp if you wanna go super into customization and audio quality, default settings are pretty good too, after that its all just taste, worth the 7 bucks or so, its been supported since 15 years or so now
