Pros

  • Again personally, I would pick up Pigments out of these three as I just love working with it so much over any other software synth atm.
  • Pigments is great. I got it for like $69 recently and it’s well worth it. If you can get it on sale for like half off it’s absolutely worth buying. It’s super versatile and has a ton of cool engines.
  • tons of capability with Bitwig and Pigments.
  • I am also of the opinion it’s the best soft synth.
  • Pigments is a very good sounding plugin, I don't need more. But what I appreciate more is its UI: very clear and very smart. It's a pleasure to sound design with it.

Cons

  • I bought it on sale for $100 a year ago, but barely touch it, but not because it’s bad, just because the workflow didn’t personally click with me. I’ve decided I’m not the biggest fan of the “do everything” software synths. I just get to...

I picked it up, I like the workflow in it. I'm new to synths, and being able to see the waveforms of all the LFOs, etc, at the same time really makes it clear what every bit is doing.
