Philips Hue

Pros

• I'd find a way to carve out a day or two for Hue if you're already going to be in the area anyway.
• When I was renting I just replaced all of my lights with Philips Hue and left all the switches turned on. No need to mess with any wiring or switches and doesn’t require wifi.
• In most rooms a double tap on will turn on all Hue lights for ambience.
• Hue for example one of the most known and very user friendly. But can be pricey.
• Philips Hue bulbs do everything you describe.

Cons

• The hardware (bulbs etc.) is still really high quality, the main issue with them is the locked down ecosystem.
• The closed down controller and stuff is irritating, but they do work out of the box with HomeAssistant with zero issues. In fact I find that when I set schedules with the Hue app they work but sometimes only some of the grouped bulbs tur...
• I really Hue, but it can be quite rainy that time of year. My first trip there was in a December and rained the whole time.
• Philipp Hue's 10m for 160$ (16$ per meter)
• Bulbs (hue seem very expensive, i was looking at govee? any other suggestions)
