Phanteks
Reddit take
Not enough linked mention summaries yet; the source excerpts below are the evidence.
Pros
- Antec, phanteks, montech, bequiet are typically good.
- Agreed, I've used Arctic, Phanteks, Noctua, Thermalright, Cooler Master, unnamed Aliexpress thermal paste, graphite pad, phase change pad, etc. For the CPU I couldn't tell a difference in final use for any of them.
- Case: Any budget airflow case (Phanteks, NZXT, Corsair, etc.)
- For Case: Montech or Phanteks or Fractal Design look up what you like with pre installed fans.
- I replaced the fans on mine with Phanteks. Much better noise profile.

I would look at something relatively inexpensive like the Phanteks in the list below, which provides good airflow out of the box at a good price.
If you were going closer to the lower end around 1000, I’d probably recommend something like a Ryzen 5 7600 for the CPU, an RTX 4060 or RX 7600 for the graphics card, 16GB or ideally 32GB of DDR5 RAM, a 1TB NVMe SSD like a Samsung 980 or WD SN770, a B650 motherboard, a 650 watt power supply from Corsair or EVGA, and just a normal airflow case like a Phanteks or NZXT H5 Flow.
I like HAVN and Phanteks personally. There are botique cases out there, but nothing comes to mind right now.
