Cuda, dlss features, and lower system latency with Nvidia make them the only choice outside of budget gaming. 4 more gb of slower memory and a small raw fps bump isnt enough to lose out on the compatibility and features and ongoing support Nvidia brings
If you're playing mostly shooters, just get an amd card, but if you're actually trying to enjoy single player games with the latest features go nvidia.
For me I switched from amd to nvidia for the features (I also don’t use Fg for the same reasons) but the features really make up for it and I think ray tracing is also better on the nvidia cards as well
