Pros
- Petzl has always made excellent lights in my experience.
- Petzl do kid specific head torches
- I’m using a Petzl for work. They are pretty decent.
- Brands like petzl make headlamps that are not for the flashie. ... They are often expensive, often only ipx 4 waterproof, use proprietary battery s, but they are light, bright and work just fine. Have 2 petzls myself, mostly because they...
- PETZL, I’ve had one for over 10 years and it’s still going strong; lithium battery is still holding a good charge and as a backup AAA batteries can also be used.
Cons
- I prefer the Nitecores overall. Much better than the Black Diamonds, Petzls, etc IMHO.

- I prefer it over my $120 Petzl.
- Petzl isn’t amazing, but they’re robust, lightweight, have a really good red mode and more than acceptable runtime with their core battery.
