Pros

• you could do some trellis-type stuff by leaning hardscape upright and letting some moss, pearlweed, other attaching stuff grow up along it
• Gosh I love pearlweed man
• Pearlweed grows real quick, but it gets tall.
• Pearlweed and Guppy Grass give fish a place to hide.
• I was hoping to use the pearlweed to carpet after it started showing some new growth

Cons

• I think pearlweed is easy but I will say that mine always took a while before taking off, it just sort of existed unless I shoved some in the holes of cholla wood but it never died and in time (a lot of it) it took off in big ways lol.
• Pearlweed carpet was too much of maintenance. Every week.
• I have used it on so many but I melted pearlweed (even when being careful) and anacharis.
• All my pearlweed vanished and was overtaken by crypts.
