• Usually toss my Lumix S9 in a bag anywhere I go on weekends. It's tiny, so when I end up not using it I don't stress.

Cons

• LUMIX S9 is mainly a vlogging camera. It doesn’t have a viewfinder so you have to compose your shots on the rear LCD screen. In bright day light, you sometimes can’t see anything at all on the screen.

• I’ve had an a7cii and now have a similar sized Lumix s9
• I do like the S9 for its simplicity, but I can't help but wonder if I won't like lacking a viewfinder or a mechanical shutter.
• The S9 does seem to be the ideal body for you though, at least in my mind, it definitely has downsides (thermal management, single SD card slot) but it's a very good B-Cam.
