Panasonic Lumix S5

Pros

• I'm trying to practice capturing cinematic, sleek, clean footage of cars using my Lumix S5IIX and my DJI Ronin RS3 Pro.
• If video is your primary focus id consider a lumix s5
• Lumix S5 or S5ii are solid choices for video and photo and the S5 is relatively cheap used.
• The Lumix S5 is fairly cheap used, around $600 for the body and feature packed.
• Shot on the Lumix S5IIX

Cons

• The S5 does have IBIS and seems to be generally very loved, and if we based ourselves only on reddit feedback we'd go for that - but as a full frame camera, it worries us that lenses will be too expensive going ahead.
• The S5 mentioned elsewhere is not great at focusing.
• i found a near mint condition (less than 1k clicks) lumix S5 for about 1k
• I think their build quality is better than Sony, but trails Canon and Nikon. ... However, while on a hike and in a quick downpour in Curaçao, the S5IIX didn’t hold up. ... Also the rear dial was so loose, not lockable, and the dampening...
• S5 known well for slow autofocus.
