Panasonic Lumix GH4

Pros

• The GH4 is one of the best budget options for video, get a mono pod or tripod and you have an amazing place to start.
• I have a GH4, GH5 and an S5iiX - no complaints about the build quality on any of them. Good solid, yet lightweight bodies that seem to stand the test of time (my GH4 is over 10 years old.)
• GH4, i've see them for less than 400.
• I have two gh4’s. I still use them occasionally. They’re true workhorses, long battery life and pretty good image.
• Specifically the GH4, with the 1080p@60p@200mbps it's just the right kind of file for the type of news stuff I shoot. And the colour can be well dialed in, in-camera.

Cons

• The only issue I've had is that the gh5 handle and card slot cover rubber peeled, and it looked tatty.... But that camera was my absolute workhorse for probably 6-7 years... The back screen on the gh3 and gh4 broke. Came back to life aft...
• I the colors aren’t great, compared with more recent cameras , even if it has the v-log active it would only be good with a external recorder like a Atomos Ninja. It does’t have Íbis. That said, i’ve done some of my favorite works with a...
